About Kathy Reeve

An enthusiastic and conscientious individual with great organisational skills, as well as strong communication abilities. Adaptable and willing to learn new processes to support her development. Experience with different systems used to keep accurate records and able to work both independently and in a team based environment; who enjoys a challenge and relishes any opportunity to further develop skills. My background is as a psychology student, working through multiple paid research positions and supporting with creating an online intervention to reduce DNA Rates within the NHS and improve motivation for change for patients waiting a long wait for support with disordered eating which was published in the journal for medical internet research. I began my NHS career working trustwide in a quality role, firstly with mortality reviews and clinical guidelines and then within patient safety. I then moved to a specialty quality role for Trauma and Neuro, reviewing all key performance indicators and managing all of neurosciences junior doctors (including rotas, sickness and recruitment - particularly challenging through COVID), with a focus on improving patient care, safety and experience by managing data and working closely with clinicians to identify areas for improvement and change. For 6 months ive worked with the wider EPR team for the Trauma and Neuro group, engaging with teams on the changing workflows, supporting and training staff, and helping to manage one of the biggest changes our Trust has ever seen, moving to an electronic document management system and a new way of working. I really put my project management skills to the test juggling so many different aspects and working to resolve build issues to support staff to maintain BAU. And now I've moved into the world of Operations management in the NHS, hospital flow, referral to treatment, and service developments.
