About Kathy Ritchie

Greetings! I have worked with K-12 students for over thirty years. In high school, college, and shortly after graduation, I volunteered as a tutor for at risk youth, and led teens on summer service projects in the United States and Europe. With 13 years of certified teaching experience come new insights about student needs and growth, new technology for student research and enrichment, classroom management, cultural differences in various states and countries, differences in the public and private settings, teacher/administrator interactions, evaluations, and more. I have taught in Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, fully certified in each state; and taught for 2 years in Seoul, Korea. Recently I've homeschooled and volunteered in Florida, and seen my own children demonstrate strong success in standardized scores, early college graduation, and other academic honors. Much of this education experience has been in a Christian setting, including International Christian School Seoul, Korea, and volunteering in Christian homeschool co-ops, Calvary Chapel School, Ascension Lutheran School, and others. I am currently enrolled in an online course of study to be certified as a private school administrator. Update: 2024, Have had wonderful work and personal experiences in both Pennsylvania and Florida in the past 10 years, but settled in Central Pennsylvania last year. Enjoying Caregiving with meaningful client relationships and essential professional services rendered, but also planning a venture to offer tutoring services to youth, and logistical services (errands, financial, organization) to adults in need.
