About Kathy Ross

I began my career in the health care field at Evergreen Hospital. My career there spanned 20+ years in a variety of roles including managing several aspects of the operating room and helping to develop and accredit a Bariatric Program for Evergreen Hospital. This led into me working with the plastic surgeons to figure out a way to help those that have had massive weight loss and the redundant skin that comes along with it. Being a weight loss patient myself, I along with very talented plastic surgeons forged a new program for the hospital - Plastic surgery after massive weight loss, which grew and became a very profitable and supportive program. I have been with Athenix for 3 years where I began as a lead surgical technician. At Athenix, I quickly assumed a leadership role and went to work on improving operational efficiency of the OR staff and reducing supply costs. As a leader, I took the initiative to launch Portland’s ASC and most recently manage their State Licensure Accreditation. The State License Survey for Portland was a tremendous success with only 1 minor correction required. When I'm not at work, you can always find me trying to whip up the newest recipe I've created or spending fun times with my husband, kids and grandkids.
