Fifteen plus years of experience in both Government and Commercial Procurement and Subcontract Management. A team player who enjoys working closely with Engineering on New Product Development and redesign projects. I enjoy being the problem solver, thinking outside of the box to contribute to the success of the project(s) and the company's bottom line, which includes negotiating the best pricing and working to insure the schedule supports the customer's requirements. Also well versed in all the required documentation for Government programs in support of the DFARS requirements. Experienced as a Buyer/Planner utilizing MRP/ERP for planning purposes. I work closely with Program Managers, Production Planners, Engineering, Quality and Sales support, along with direct communication with Customers. Experienced in negotiations for cost savings, cost avoidance and always on the look-out for process improvements when ever possible.
