As a nurse with a strong foundation in long-term care and a passion for leadership, clinical coordination, and utilization review. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve grown from bedside care to leadership roles—including MDS Coordinator and ADON—where I’ve helped teams improve outcomes, stay survey-ready, and deliver person-centered care. Lately, I’ve shifted my focus toward intake nursing and utilization review, where I combine clinical insight with critical thinking to ensure appropriate placements and effective care planning. I’m experienced in reviewing clinical documentation, identifying medical necessity, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support smooth transitions and optimized reimbursement. I lead with a calm, steady presence and believe in creating environments where staff feel supported and patients feel seen.
