@katipearsonpro Singer, dancer, actor, educator, adjudicator, and admin professional based in the GTA. Training- Bachelor degree in Voice from Queen’s University - Bachelor of Musical Theatre Performance from Sheridan College - Masters degree in Musical Theatre Performance from The University of Montana - Level 8 Piano (Royal Conservatory of Music)- Level 10 Voice (Royal Conservatory of Music) Kati is a current member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and the Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association. She has worked extensively as a director, music director, and choreographer for high school productions, community theatre, youth theatre, charity events, and summer camp shows. Kati is a private piano, voice, and ukulele teacher, as a well as an acting coach for individuals of all ages and abilities. Her students range from kindergarteners to retired adults, hobbyists to professionals, and many have gone on to great successes, including being accepted into some of Canada's leading theatre and music schools. In addition to private instruction, Kati joined the faculty of the Office Administration program in the Pilon School of Business in the Fall of 2023. Kati is a four-time champion in Musical Theatre at the Provincial level, and in 2015 she represented Ontario at the National Music Festival in Edmonton, Alberta. She has performed on stages across North America and beyond, and currently sings in a vocal duo called Across the Pond. When Kati is not on stage, behind the piano, or in front of a class, she can be found behind a computer screen, working diligently as an administrator in education and the arts.
