PROFESSOR OF EMPLOYMENT RELATIONS AND SOCIAL DIALOGUE As an associate professor at Ghent University, my focus is on employment relations and social dialogue, work organization, decent jobs and occupational health and wellbeing. Particular attention is given to gender and diversity. MEDIATOR IN WORK-RELATED CONFLICTS As a mediator in work-related conflicts, I integrate academic knowledge with real-world practice in alternative conflict resolution. I am certified by the Federal Mediation Commission. DIRECTOR - HR IN R&D and innovation I am director of ECOOM UGent which monitors human capital in R&D and innovation for the Flemish Government. Our team focuses on academic and non-academic career paths of PhD students/holders and on bridges between academia, industry and the government.
