About Katia Pinhal

My educational background is in International Tourism & Hospitality Management, with a specialization in Sales & Marketing. I have acquired experiences in Hospitality/Tourism, Tour operating and Financial services. My career started as a Junior Contracting & Product Manager, where I was in charge of dealing new contracts with the hotel partners on the different destinations, manage my own product portfolio and supervise the content for the different travel catalogues. Then, I worked as a Sales Support in the Financial services (digital payment solutions). My daily tasks consisted in managing all the incoming leads by getting into contact by phone or email with them, on-boarding the merchants and proceed to their activation, manage the Customer Due Diligence process and interact with the different departments. A daily support was provided to the users or merchants of the payment app by contacting them in case of problems or questions. Currently, I work as a Product Manager at Sightseeing.lu, an online platform for touristic and event experiences (Guided E-bike, Walking, Sightseeing Bus Tours, American School Bus/Dinner Hopping) in Luxembourg. My sense of adaptability, my open-mind and need of innovation led me to always seek for great achievements. I enjoy to be in a multicultural working environment and aim for an on-going self-development. I have great communication skills (I speak 5 languages and have some notions in Spanish), IT skills and interpersonal skills. I adapt easily to new environments and love to discuss ideas and projects with my team.
