About Katie Bower

Passionate educator specializing in providing education to Paramedics and EMTs. My passion began when I took a nighttime EMT class in undergrad. Since I got my first glance at EMS, I have been hooked. I started my career as a volunteer EMT in Fleming, NY. My first department only running 300 fire and EMS calls a year. Over the past few years I have advanced my career by becoming a paramedic, adjunct instructor, SWAT paramedic, and Critical Care Paramedic. I now manage training for approximately clinicians. After graduating from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science, I set out on a mission to combine my academic knowledge and background with my passion for EMS. My goal is to educate pre-hospital providers in a way that encourages them to continue their education and go above and beyond the paramedic/EMT learning standard. I hope that by fostering a welcoming learning environment, we are able to inspire the next generation of providers to not just be providers but dedicated professionals who take our industry to the next level.
