I’m currently with Iowa Home Care as a Clinical Data Specialist. I have various job duties in the ever growing health care field. I continue to grow and learn in the health care field with visions of much more in my future. I was a Guest Service Manager for 6 years. I did a little bit of everything. I hired staff, trained staff, made the schedule for 50 plus staff members, trouble shoot employee problems, administrative duties, followed corrective measures accordingly, cash room duties, data entry for the education and membership departments, and etc. I've been with the Blank Park Zoo from 2001-2016. Throughout my time there, I was able to experience multiple areas. I have good customer service skills, detailed oriented, time management skills, and over all like a challenge. I have improved my problem solving skills throughout the years. I did an internship through the Va of Central Iowa in September. My internship was with Tammy Heap at the VA Central Iowa Health Care System in the Offices at Merle Hay. During my time there, I learned how to index, scan documents, medical coding, records management, etc
