About Katie Chan

All who know me would say I have an open and upbeat disposition who is good at connecting with others. Helping others and making people smile always makes my day. My friends often count on me to research, coordinate, and finalize any group activities. I adapt to the role required of me, meaning I can be the leader, cooperate with a team, or work independently. I believe that there is always room for improvement, so I am constantly trying to better my personal character and learn new things. Therefore, I am open to taking classes to learn new skills or attain certifications. Took a sabbatical due to COVID and to help my family. Currently looking for a full-time position and my next work family to join and opportunities for growth. The bulk of my experience lies within retail, promoting, and sales. I am best with direct sales that involve working face to face. I have experience working as an administrative assistant professionally for a private equity firm. Personally, I work as an assistant for my father helping manage his investment properties. I have no issues talking over a phone or corresponding via online platforms and am an avid note taker. Lastly, I have experience doing data entry with HIPAA data transferring written information into the lab software system. I will use all this experience to become a valuable member of any team and/or company that hires me.
