About Katie Decker

Dr. Katie Decker opened 5280 Balanced Health Center in January of 2015. She had a vision of a multidisciplinary clinic that was comprised of practitioners that were experts in their field working together as a team for the better of the patient. 5280 BHC is built on the foundation of Wellness from Within. We want you to develop Wellness from Within your selves as well as Wellness from Within the services in our clinic. Each one of our knowledgeable, talented practitioners has your best interest in mind. We would love to be a part of your health journey. She is a Colorado native and loves everything Colorado has to offer! She realized how special Colorado was while she was away at school for 10 years. Dr. Katie played softball at Baylor University while getting her degree in Health Fitness Studies. The amazing education and guidance from her professors encouraged her to receive her masters in Health Promotion with an emphasis on Nutrition. While completing her Masters she decided to go on to Chiropractic School which lead her to Kansas City and Cleveland Chiropractic College. Graduation, in 2010, brought her back to Colorado where she worked at Steadman Hawkins Denver Clinic and began her practice. Once she began her practice, she realized how much she enjoyed treating families. She loves to see the dynamic between them and to truly get to know each one of her patients. This passion drove her to an extensive training and a comprehensive exam resulting in her certification in Family, Prenatal and Pediatric care by the Academy of Family Practice (C.A.C.C.P.) and the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association. This certification includes the Webster technique which is the official pregnancy adjusting technique. She combines all of her degrees to help patients achieve Wellness from Within through the five dimensions of health: physical, mental, spiritual, intellectual and emotional.
