About Katie Egan

It's okay to have it all. In 2009, I left a job in advertising that I loved, packed up my two month old and followed my husband's promotion back home to Chicagoland. My daughter was born 17 months later. Life was hectic, to say the least, with two kids under two years old and a husband in a demanding career and a master's program. I found Rodan + Fields Dermatologists through a friend's post on Facebook. When I found out that it was the same doctors that created ProActiv Solution, I was interested. When I found out that I could work my business in part-time, flexible hours around my family anywhere that I had a wifi and cell phone connection, I was ready. I made a change. I partnered with the doctors who created ProActiv Solution in their NEW company, Rodan + Fields Dermatologists. What the doctors had done for acne they were now doing for aging and I was going to be a part of it. My initial goals were to get a new vehicle and pay for preschool. When I accomplished that in only a few short months into the business I realized I had to dream a whole lot bigger. Now 4 years in, I have more than doubled what I used to make as a full time salary while continuing to work 8-15 hours a week flexibly around our 4 young children. While this is wonderful, what I enjoy most is the community of entrepreneurs, coaching new business owners towards reaching their goals and helping customers get amazing skin. ​ Most Importantly, I am very happy doing it all.
