About Katie Lawrence

I am currently employed full time within student roost as an assistant operations manager. As part of my role, I am responsible for the day-to-day management of the 1772 rooms we offer on our site, which includes standards of cleanliness and liaising with the onsite maintenance team to ensure issues that are raised are rectified. I manage a team of customer service advisors, house keepers and the maintenance team ensuring each colleague is aware of their role and what is expected from them. I must ensure I am extremely organised; this helps me to forward plan my day-to-day tasks enabling me to maximise my time and resources. Dealing with student complaints is a crucial part of my role making sure we are responding, investigating the root cause of the complaint, and then resolving it as soon as possible. Part of my role includes regular viewings, which includes engaging with the client and trying to generate a sale, working against kpi’s to ensure we hit sale targets each week. I make sure I have a weekly sale plan in place and engage my team with the weeks events. providing high quality customer service and leading bu example.
