About Katie Lee-Koven

With a tenure spanning a decade, my leadership as the Executive Director and Chief Curator at the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art has been marked by a passion for expanding access to art on campus, in the community, and throughout the state with our MobileArt Truck. My mission has been to expand and enhance visitor engagement, build an exceptional and high-functioning team. In my ten years, we have more than doubled the museum's annual visitation, expanding the demographics of who we serve, and more than doubled our annual operating budget. I have led two capital campaigns, the first resulting in a complete renovation and expansion of the museum, adding 7500 square feet. The second is a new 9,500 sq.ft. art education and research center adjacent to the museum that augments our current offering to better serve learners in the 21st century. It also doubles our collection storage capacity.
