I've been in the communications field since 2005 and have been lucky to work with, and learn from, so many wonderful communicators and other professionals. I've also been fortunate to work with a diverse set of employers, but my passion has always been focusing on social issues.the issues that touch my heart the most, like education and healthcare. I have significant experience in internal and external communications, issues and crisis management, strategic communication, storytelling, stakeholder relations and media relations. While sometimes exhausting, issues management and crisis communications are my strengths; I love digging deep into complex scenarios. I also love storytelling through video, words and powerful photos or graphics. I also enjoy mentoring others and helping them navigate the world of communications. I love connecting with like-minded people and learning new, effective strategies related to communications, engagement and building engaging teams.
