About Katie Perry

Currently, I am a Training Supervisor for Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor's for the State of Ohio. I have extensive experience working with a diverse population, a variety of community partners, and local employers. I demonstrate superior skills in leadership, communication, organization, time, and fiscal management. I prefer to work with disadvantaged and underserved populations. Making a difference in one person's life can provide a positive impact on many others who encounter that person. I have a positive approach with others and my staff feel comfortable coming to me with difficult situations. I am honest and provide constructive feedback to help others grow their skills and confidence. I am very skilled at adjusting my instructional approach to help each learner understand my messages clearly. In my free time, I enjoy boating on Lake Erie, golfing, and running. I love to go to the beach! My family is very important to me, but I am an empty nester and now looking for my next journey in life as my children are carving their own paths.
