About Katie Phillips

I am an experienced Volunteer Manager with strong interpersonal skills and a solid background of managing diverse teams and working with stakeholders to deliver strategic and operational results. I have over 14 years experience working in the charity sector specialising in engagement with visitors, supporters, communities, stakeholders and volunteers in site-based, regional and GB wide roles. I excel at volunteer management and have supported volunteer teams of 20 right up to to create impactful volunteering experiences that drive organisational growth. My strategic leadership skills have enabled me to craft business plans, strategies, operational programmes and health and safety policies which have enabled me to succesfully manage teams from as small as 25 up to 150, and budgets of £2million. I am quick to learn, proactive, and my planning and organisational skills enable me to prioritise and keep projects moving on time. As a trustee and senior manager, I am experienced in the breadth of charity and business operations, including governance, policy and working with the Board.
