About Katie Scott

I just started my new role as Project Manager/Environmental Scientist at Dillon Consulting. I was the Field Services Manager at Pollutech EnviroQuatics Limited for three and a half years. In my role I managed 5-10 employees, generated technical proposals and reports, managed our safety program, coordinated emergency responses, created and gave training to all staff and provided clients with advice on environmental and safety compliance. With more than 10 years of experience in the environmental industry I have gained extensive knowledge of regulations and industry standards. I have worked at Pollutech through the majority of my career and worked my way from a Laboratory Technician to Field Services Manager. I also worked at BP Canada as the EHS Advisor for the Sarnia and Windsor Facilities. While was working with BP the site was sold to Plains Midstream Canada. In my role as EHS Advisor I developed and implemented environmental training for the site, established and tracked KPIs, responded to emergencies, investigated incidents, directed permitting changes, maintained ISO 14001 and was the lead contact during MOE, GHG and ISO audits. I have a Bachelor of Science, Honours from the University of Guelph and a Biotechnology – Research Technology Advanced Diploma from Seneca College. I am passionate about the environment and enjoyed volunteering for the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary leading search and rescue for eight years. I am always interested in hearing from former colleagues and interested clients, so feel free to contact me if you would like to connect.
