About Katie Sharp

Passionate about accelerating net zero, over the last 18-months at City Science I have gained experience across transport and energy including developing EV strategies, net-zero pathways and local area energy plans. I leverage my written and communication skills to produce accessible and engaging outputs informed by stakeholder engagement and data-driven insights to enable evidence-led decision making for our clients. In my role, I actively contribute to business development by sourcing, supporting, and producing high-quality tender submissions. Throughout my time at City Science, I have supported the delivery of over 50 tenders, grant applications and framework submissions. My success/conversion rate is a testament to my skills in understanding client and project specifications. With a BSc in Geography offering a broad contextual background in environmental issues and a an MSc in Global Sustainability Solutions focused on climate change impacts and mitigations, I bring a holistic perspective to my work.
