To Overcome To overcome is something everyone must do at some point in their life. At some point there will be a challenge, a struggle, or a competitor. Perhaps all three occur simultaneously. Either way, we all hope that these times are not drawn out and that we succeed promptly when faced with them. For me, the concept is fluid and the process ongoing. Perseverance is a must if I am to overcome the obstacles I face, and while perfection is always the goal, I must be content with progress as it is achieved. This may come in the form of a degree in my chosen field, a promotion at the job I give so much energy to, or perhaps just making it through the day. Some days are easier than others, however on the days that will fails, dignity and respect must take over. My current goals are concrete and achievable. They are challenging and require determination and focus if the work is to be completed successfully. While I have encountered many roadblocks over the years, my tenacity has served me well. I am dedicated to bettering my life permanently and in the most efficient way possible, and those who assist in any aspect of that process are held in the highest regard. That includes my current management and coworker team as they are ever encouraging and believe in me like I do in myself.
