About Katie Thomas

Dr. Katie Rovere is reinventing the work environment so everyone has a better work experience. Her passion for improving the human experience at work has guided her to create multiple transformative people and corporate effectiveness programs. Her coaching and consulting approach has been refined over the years and can be described as a mashup of her academic training and human-centered design thinking. Dr. Katie has special expertise in constructing and executing millennial strategies to improve the work experience. Millennial strategies entail developing an approach to engaging today's employee population to maximize benefits and curate the best possible experience for the people within a company. Employee engagement and overall workplace satisfaction is a key driver of business success. Katie holds special expertise that enables employers to elicit what matters most to its staff and develop a path to meeting their needs via a human-centered approach. A human-centered approach is core to how Dr. Katie thinks and acts upon client requests. Over the last 10 years, delivering on a human-centered approach has called for large and small workshops of employees. Katie describes these workshops as codesign sessions whereby the people in the company take the time, facilitated by Dr. Katie, to come together and define the best possible scenario going forward. This approach can result in bespoke corporate innovations and nationally scaled people development programs.
