About Katie Thomas

I have a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Teaching from Georgia Gwinnett College, where I learned how to design and deliver effective and inclusive instruction for diverse learners. I am currently a Learning & Development Specialist. In this role, I use my core competencies of Articulate 360, HubSpot Sales Hub, and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to create and implement engaging and impactful learning programs for our employees and clients.As a Learning & Development Specialist, I work with various stakeholders to identify their learning needs and goals, and design customized solutions that align with our organizational vision and values. I leverage my previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, where I created lesson plans, taught social skills, and led individualized education plans for students in grades 3-5, to create culturally responsive and growth-oriented learning experiences that foster collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement. I also use data and analytics to measure and evaluate the effectiveness and outcomes of our learning initiatives, and provide recommendations for improvement and innovation. I am passionate about helping people learn and grow, and I enjoy bringing diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.
