About Katie Waycaster

As a Deputy courtroom clerk I am responsible for an array of administrative duties, which include preparing and processing information for court, recording court sessions,and entering judgments. It is my duty to work directly with Judicial officials Attorneys,and the public,assisting them as needed. I am active in the Clerks Office as a member of our Social Committee and also serve on the NCAADCSC board as the 2024 Executive Assistant. I am honored to serve the public of Forsyth County and to support its courts! Prior to working as a Deputy Clerk I gained experience as a patient access specialist at Digestive Health Specialist where I learned the Epic system, customer service skills and most importantly understanding for the needs of those I served. I gained clerical experience from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in the office of admissions and customer service skills. In my personal time when given the opportunity I enjoy volunteering in the community. I have volunteered with various local charities such as Community Roots, and Second Harvest food Bank.
