As a truly motivated and passionate sustainability and environmental professional. I have over 12 years experience in sustainability, environmental and waste management and over 4 years experience managing health and safety. With energetic and fresh thinking, I always look for ways to improve systems of work to achieve sustainability goals and health and safety improvements. I have a persuasive ability to positively influence others and develop strong relationships across a range of stakeholders. My current projects include working on the companies` carbon reduction strategy and road to `net zero` by 2035, part of this process involves completing a full company carbon footprint, in line with the GHG protocol and in line with the SBTi principles. I have worked on projects to increase our sites renewable energy generation, install EV chargers and develop a plan to install smart energy monitoring system across all of our sites, to help reach `net zero`. Combine this with excellent verbal and written communication skills, a sharp eye for detail and strong analytical skills, I can deliver a diverse range of skills required of a sustainability and environmental professional. I have achieved practitioner status from IEMA, and I am planning to achieve full chartered membership this year. I keep up with the latest news from the Transform environmentalist magazine and regularly attend webinars and training sessions to keep up with my continuing professional development.
