About Katina Chris
I'm currently working at NYU Langone Health in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Along with the NY Child and Adolescent Maltreatment Prevention (CHAMP) network, my team disseminates knowledge and tools for large-scale prevention of maltreatment for children at risk. Through application of causal data science methods to large, existing data sets, we aim to create tools for intervention. I graduated Cum Laude from the University of Central Florida with a BSc in Psychology. During my time at UCF, I worked as a research assistant in two psychology research labs, was a teaching assistant, and conducted an Honors Thesis and experiment investigating the role of technology overuse on cognitive processes.
