About Katlego Tlale

As CFO and Resources Lead at the Letsema group, I oversee the group’s finance functions and I am a member of the group executive committee. I also drive our investment strategy in the resources sector of South Africa. Letsema places critical value in being a business that brings about positive social change, a mandate which aligns strongly with my values as a professional and person. I am a chartered accountant with over a decade of experience in the mining industry, having started as an audit clerk in the mining department of KPMG, then managing financial reporting and treasury at Gold One Limited (a then JSE and ASX dual-listed gold miner) to now serving as the Group CFO of Letsema. I am also an independent non-executive director on the board of Merafe Resources Limited, which holds a participating right in the Glencore-Merafe Chrome Venture.
