Having grown up in a family that owned and operated restaurants, cafes, function halls, and catering companies, the service industry is in my blood and hospitality/customer service is my passion. I have also spent the better part of the last two decades in the marketing field and have many years of administrative experience in a professional office environment as well. I studied at UMASS Boston with a major in English, and was a proofreader/editor/tutor for my peers through the English department. I am looking to obtain a position in a fast-paced environment where my winning attitude and desire to deliver an exceptional experience can flourish. Flexible in the ability to adapt to challenges when they arise while remaining aware of professional roles and boundaries, I have an approachable, cheerful and friendly personality that is focused on setting high expectations and raising service standards. I have excellent skills and flair needed to attract customers, drive sales and develop repeat business with an in-depth understanding of the customer service and hospitality industry.
