About Katri Halonen

I have over 20 years of experience in learning and developing the experience economy as a Principal Lecturer in Cultural Management. Throughout my career, I have served as the Head of the School of Cultural Services, Head of the Department of Cultural Management, Project Manager for creative sector initiatives, inclusion, and web3 development projects. Additionally, I have contributed as a lecturer and thesis supervisor in the Cultural Management Master's degree program. As a person, I am easily enthused and also committed to seeing tasks through to completion. I am broadly curious, always seeking new solutions to contemporary issues, and future-oriented. My specialization areas include: • Employment in the experience economy and various work identities in the intermediary sector • Impactful project management that becomes a new way of operating during the project itself • Project leadership, building network collaboration, and co-development • Social innovations as part of developing creative industries and increasing impact • Web3, especially new operating and revenue models in the creative industry based on AI, blockchain, and the metaverse
