Työn alla valtionhallinnon #vastuullisuusnäkyväksi. Working on making sustainability visible in the Finnish central government. At State Treasury of Finland, we focus on sharing best practices and guidance to the organisations in central government on how they can communicate their work on increasing sustainability by using the UN sustainability goals in the Agenda 2030 action plan as framework. My role has been from the beginning of 2020 to steer the development of the framework for reporting in cooperation with various groups within and also outside of the government. In September 2021 State Treasury published a guidance for all central government organisations on how to construct a sustainability report on their action to their most important interest groups and the public. Reporting is not everything – now we focus on supporting the organisations in taking the questions of sustainability in their everyday and core actions and how to communicate this to the society. I am excited on laying the groundwork for sustainability networks in the central government allowing the most inspiring ideas and to spread! I am an eager learner and my education in economics and contemporary history have proven to support a vast area of new challenges as sustainability. Before diving into sustainability, I worked on the financial administration and financial reporting of the state of Finland.
