About Katrin Martin

I’m a university centre director at FOM where I direct two centres in Mannheim and Karlsruhe. Prior to this I was Deputy Director of General Management at the longer-established FOM Centre Frankfurt. Now it’s an especially exciting challenge for me to establish the more recent centre of FOM Karlsruhe and grow its success together with each member our teaching and administrative teams. After a successful career in academic publishing, I made the move from books to people and educational management. I’m driven to create an ideal learning environment for specialists of the future - together with all our partners in education at FOM. Supporting individuals along their academic journey – whether in academic publishing or higher education: this has been my career hallmark for over the last decade. PREVIOUS KEY ROLES: Managing Director, Project Manager, Head of Project Manager Team, Head of Strategic Development My value set is characterized by implementing innovation and intelligent change in both stable and transitional times combined with the courage to break new barriers, integrate input from diverging points of view and ensuring a unified, interdisciplinary and direct approach when tackling complex challenges.
