Hello, I'm Katrin. I started Hello World in 2013, and I am the CEO. Hello World is a UK and USA charity that partners with isolated communities to enable them to access Internet, solar-power, devices, educational software, engineering training and educational programmes. I have been working in international development and human rights for quite sometime and I care deeply about social justice, listening-led development, decolonising aid and improving the international development sector. We work in Nepal, Uganda, and Nigeria, with plans to expand to Gaza and DRC. Hello World has an MIT Solve Fellowship, an Andan Prize (or three!), the HP Prize, and the.ORG Award, a BBC Radio 4 Appeal.
