About Katrina Baker

I am a hard working, fast learning, knowledge retaining individual with a vast knowledge in many different areas. Currently I am a Senior Lab Technician with Quality Assurance in the food and beverage industry. I have mastered all areas of production, from batching flavors, operating different assembly line equipment, leading team members in production of schedules to creating, revising and training on S.O.P.s, label processes, inventory, shipping/receiving and some mechanical knowledge. I am working with Q.A. currently doing sensory, line checks, quality control processes and building a training system. I am involved in audit preparation and actually have taken part in SQF, GMP and SQMS audits. As of recent I have been involved in creating the Food Safety Plan for a new facility and earned my Advanced HACCP certification. I have obtained a lot of knowledge in my 10 years with this current company. Prior to being employed by my present employer I worked in many different fields, one of the most rewarding being a Behavioral Specialist for Developmentally Disabled Adults. I also worked as a Shipment Lead for Old Navy, receiving, stocking, price and presentation for Target. My skill set has many layers, but overall I am loving the Manufacturing Industry and would love to broaden my skills.
