Advanced care paramedic with 6 years pre-hospital experience for the Queensland Ambulance Service. 4 years of experience with Emergency First aid, as paramedic/nurse, within field hospitals at festivals and major events. Extensive training to administer vaccinations, and experience as COVID-19 vaccination nurse as part of COVID-19 surge workforce. Experience with major events such as festivals and other large gatherings, disasters such as flooding/fire, ongoing experience with pandemic response to COVID-19. As part of pandemic response, I have experience working within fever clinics across Queensland administering COVID-19 PCR tests, whilst maintaining appropriate public health measures. Previously a volunteer surf life saver, with experience working in austere environments and use of complex equipment in high-pressure situations. Recently completed a Masters of Specialist Paramedic Practice at Monash University, and commenced a Graduate Certificate of Aeromedical Retrieval at Monash University.
