I teach Organisational Leadership to postgraduates at UNE Business School, and run a private consulting, coaching, & therapy practice. My doctoral research explores how organisations, work units and teams can navigate complexity, by becoming adaptive, transformative learning organisations, sustaining relevance, performance, and resilience. I also examine the consequences of failing to do so. Key themes include human-centered leadership, fostering psychologically safe cultures, & embedding systemic continuous learning mechanisms. These concepts transcend sectors & geographies, empowering any group, organisation, or network to cultivate passion, high performance, well-being, adaptability, & resilience. I have presented my research at international conferences, & my work's significance has been acknowledged at various forums, including the Seventeenth Australasian Vertebrate Pest Conference (2017) & the Fourteenth Annual Savanna Science Network Meeting (2016). In recognition of my contributions, I was honoured with the Emerging Scholar Award at the Eighteenth International Conference on Knowledge, Culture, & Change in Organizations in Konstanz, Germany (March 2018).
