About Katrina Down

I help young people from underrepresented backgrounds explore their options in Higher Education and alternative pathways. Through outreach work in targeted secondary schools and further education colleges across Northamptonshire, I support students in achieving their goals. I also design and coordinate innovative, face-to-face experiences that raise aspirations and boost attainment, both through outreach events and on-campus opportunities. I am a highly motivated and ambitious professional with strong organisational, communication and leadership skills. Passionate about continuous learning and growth, I am always eager to expand my knowledge and develop new skills. I share my career journey, activities and events and connect with others on X via @katrinadownUON. Beyond work, I stay active by playing netball and proudly captain my team, the Fireballs.
