About Katrina Eagilen

Dr. Eagilen serves as the DentaQuest Dental Director and Dental Advisor for Tennessee Medicaid Programs. She currently represents the Dental Profession on the State of California Medi-CAL Children’s Health Advisory Panel and is a Clinical Faculty Member at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, Division of Family Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Eagilen has established and administered Public, Private, and Academic Dental Clinics. She has a proven record of success in bringing people together and establishing and developing effective organizational and programmatic systems. Experienced and effective in peer review, project management, workflow management, compliance and quality assurance, she is passionate about elevating the quality of care of the underserved and advocating for disease prevention, health literacy and health promotion especially in children. Dr. Eagilen has worked to improve Oral and Overall Health in mainstream and diverse communities. She served as the Program Coordinator of the Inaugural General Practice Residency Program at the King/Drew Medical Center (KDMC) which received full accreditation during her tenure. Dr. Eagilen served as the Executive Director of the Angel City Dental Society of Los Angeles for over 10 years. She has received numerous awards for her professional and community service involvements locally, nationally and internationally for her work with underserved and at - risk populations.
