About Katrina Gee

I have a passion for organising events and in 2020 I completed certificate in wedding planning and design to extend my knowledge and skills in this area. I have worked in marketing coordinator roles in various industries for more than 15 years and have built up experience working across a number of marketing email and social media platforms. This included putting together advertising placement strategy and also designing adverts using Canva and Publisher as well as liaising with graphic designers. I also have experience organising a variety of events; some of these include a magazine launch party in Beijing during the2008 Olympics (initially organised from Australia and managed in Beijing) and a magazine launch party in Canberra. As well as the events I have organised professionally, I have also organised birthday parties, baby showers and hens parties for friends and families. During my time volunteering with the Toowoomba and Shoalhaven defence families associations I organised family and information days. I also organised various successful fundraising activities from bake sales to family photography days and raffles.
