About Katrina Roberts

I am currently Senior Vice President, Colleague Services, Colleague Experience Group, at American Express. I am responsible for HR Product and Program delivery, HR Operations and HR Systems and Data Management, supporting all American Express colleagues globally. I sit on the HR Executive team, reporting to the CHRO. I have worked for American Express since 1991, joining via the graduate development program, and during that time have primarily worked in Technology, and was a member of the Technology Executive team for 6 years. I held a mix of software delivery and technical strategy roles, becoming Unit CIO for Global Commercial Services, before moving to the Colleague Experience Group in 2022. I am committed to supporting colleague development and recruiting the best talent and have been the co-sponsor of a number of American Express colleague networks - Sussex UK WIN (Women’s Interest Network), UK DAN (Disability Awareness Network)- and was the global sponsor of WIT (Women in Technologies) and led the diversity efforts for American Express Technology. I won Leader of the Year in a corporate organization at the FDM everywoman in Technology Awards in 2014, and the Women in Payments award in 2020, for my support of female talent. In my career in I have extensive experience in developing the strategy for and implementing major change management initiatives, including improving the digital experience, technology platforms and operational processes across 30+ markets, as well as running complex and large scale operations teams.
