IN THE NEWS/ January 2016 "Pumping For Patients" Results in $3355 Donation to Huntsville Hospital Foundation Dave & Katy McGregor of Northern Disposal & Sanitation made a presentation to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation in the amount of $3355 today. This is the second time the company made a donation from their annual "Pumping for Patients" initiative. So far the McGregor's have donated in excess of $6300 for healthcare in the area.'$5 from every pink portable restroom reservation and $10 from every septic pump made throughout the year is donated to HHF.' April 1st, 2014 Northern Disposal & Sanitation has partnered with our local Huntsville Hospital in order to raise money for the hospital’s cancer care and diagnostic programs. Northern Disposal has created this fundraising project around two of their professional services; portable restroom rentals and septic pumping. After receiving approval from the Hospital Foundation board Katy and Dave spent this past winter planning, creating and developing all the marketing and promotional tools required for a fundraising project of this magnitude. They started with their purchase of a fleet of pink portable units. These pretty pink units have decals on the doors that state ‘Take a Stand or a Seat for Huntsville Hospital Cancer Care Program’. The units will be available to rent throughout Muskoka and surrounding area. McGregor states the pink units are booking up fast for outdoor weddings, with many clients renting them with a loved one in mind. The next phase of the project consisted of re-designing their septic pumping truck with logos, coloured ribbons, pink decor and the slogan ‘Pumping for Patients’. To state the very least it will be the prettiest septic truck on Muskoka’s roads this spring!
