About Katy Rizo

In school, they never talked about being an event planner. It was always 'doctor''teacher' or 'lawyer.' Taking the road less traveled, I entered the world of Hospitality and Special Events eager to learn about all of the different options - from DMC to in-house, it's been fun exploring. On my journey I've been lucky enough to gain a strong understanding of event management, communication, training, and mobilization for all size corporations and non-profits. I have been able to find this amazing niche role that allows me to be the best version of me - problem-solving in a rapidly growing organization, the creative freedom to try new things, and direct line communication to help impact people's lives to make it a great place to work. It's so fun to challenge myself, and Team Members, with innovative concepts while promoting our brand, culture, and excitement for vacation and travel!
