As a rock climber, I often think of therapy like a climb—each person’s path is unique, and progress sometimes means taking a moment to pause, reassess, and find your next hold. Whether I’m supporting a family in creating more meaningful connection or helping someone navigate a tough transition, my goal is always to help you build emotional strength and move toward healing. I enjoy working with all age groups and take pride in meeting people where they are, finding a shared language that makes the process feel collaborative and empowering. My work is grounded in the values of connection, family, and growth—both on and off the wall. An original poem: An ever-expanding space. Where you always have a place. Even when you tear the walls and smash the windows. A landlord so patient, but viewed as a weirdo. Leave and forget, but the space is always there. Come back when you need, no need to care. Take and take, until nothing is left. Then wonder why the kindness was theft. Words and words crying for healing. But you can't see past what it is you are feeling. Deep breaths, deep breaths, just wait it out. No need to give in to the destruction about. Grab the paintbrushes, cardboard, and tape. Begin to fix this destroyed landscape. Once abundant, once lush, some say naive. It will come back, a phoenix, just believe. Connect it back down to mother earth. Relight the flame, grab your self-worth. Trust, trust, trust in your choices. You did what you could, ignore the doubting voices. Rebuild this space that is your heart. For new souls to come in and add in their part. Their part in your life which brings you so much higher. Connecting you to the positive energy which you truly desire. Look around, look around, such an expanding space.
