About Kaustubh Srikanth

As a wildlife biologist, wildlife educator and photographer, I am passionate about connecting people with the biodiversity around them and raising awareness on environmental education. I am an author for multiple publications by WWF India, including the book, Birds in your Backyard and Beyond. I am currently working as the Senior Program Manager- Wild Shaale at Centre for Wildlife Studies. As a part of my work I hope to connect individuals with nature, help them grow as educators and collectively protect the environment and live in harmony with nature. Previously, I worked as the Head of Operations- Tours and Camps at Toehold Travel and Photography Pvt. Ltd, where I had to oversee the tours and engagement, for diverse audiences. As a part of the work I had to support the management in strategising goals for the company and support the team in achieving the same. I also had worked as a National Coordinator- Nature Camps at Centre for Environment Education (CEE), where I coordinated and conducted nature camps across India. I have worked with WWF India and WWF Singapore in the area of environment education and have engaged various audiences through educational programmes that I have led. I have also represented WWF India in the first Arctic Youth Summit in Finland in 2018 and have received multiple awards and recognition for my wildlife photography and education work.
