About Kav Khalsa

Senior Software Engineer | Angular Expert | DevOps Advocate | Mentor As a seasoned Senior Software Engineer, I bring over nine years of expertise in full-stack development, specializing in Angular, React, and Node.js across diverse industries like finance, telecommunications, and SaaS. My approach blends deep technical skills with a collaborative, mentoring mindset—whether it's designing custom UI libraries, building robust CI/CD pipelines, or leading teams through complex technical migrations and architecture improvements. Currently, I'm part of Viasat team leading the migration from Angular 15 to 19 by upgrading complex module structures into Standalone and utilising Angular Signals to deliver significant performance upgrades. Previously at Vanguard's Attract team, where I drove European public web development and leveraged my experience to enhance DevX through custom workflows and plug-in generators. At Virgin Media and Marin Software, I led Angular migrations, architected testing frameworks, and mentored teams in best practices, particularly in RXJS and state management. I am also an organizer of the Angular + Drinks meetup, where I actively engage with the community to explore and present emerging Angular features. In my spare time, I contribute to open-source projects, including refactoring Adobe AEM NPM packages for Angular compatibility. Passionate about continuous learning and sharing knowledge, I'm committed to developing innovative solutions that push the boundaries of user experience and DevOps.
