Hi, My name is Kavana Tseng from HsinChu, Taiwan. I graduated with a Computer Science Master degree from NCHU. I have worked for Alpha Networks(2) and Arcadyan(10) for over 12+ years, most of my career was dedicated on mobile domain product development, I also had 3 years Wi-Fi 6 related development experience and got 1 patent for Wi-Fi onboarding. In the 6+ years of development experience over 3G/4G/5G small cell products, I was majored in L3 protocol and related features. I am quite familiar with RRC/NAS message and end to end call setup, inter/intra handover, measurement gap, ANR/TNL, DRX, CSFB, IMS, PWS…etc. I am also familiar with 4G EPC and 5GC backend protocol due to we have to debug with core network, S1AP, X2AP, NGAP, XnAP and F1AP. Now, I am working on FWA projects, including Verizon, Byte, and T-Mobile for over 3 years. I am in charge of modem-related diagnostic features, such as modem logging, modem RAM dump and protocol analysis….etc. Besides these, I also lead a team to develop the OTA log parsing, to decode modem log's RRC/NAS messages and dump them to our syslog in real-time. This would help us have a better understanding of the whole system and the modem's behavior easily. And we also provide the KPI for each message and reject/failure/connect cause of RRC and NAS messages. This also would help the operators to know the statistics for their FWA in certain locations such as cell edge, hot zone or crowed place. This OTA log decoder supports for both QC and MTK FWAs, and it's ongoing to apply for a patent as well. I also coordinated the modem conformance related TE vendors, trying to build up our modem conformance LAB as Element, Intertek and ATMC these 3rd party LAB did. So I am also able to discuss the issue with R&S, Keysight or Anritsu. I am also familiar with core network backend structure, Polaris EPC, Druid(Raemis) 5GC, Amarisoft callbox, R&S CMX500, Keysight UXM since we have to verify the modem's behavior. Skills Coding language: Major in C, shell script, the others would be fine or a little time to catch up.
