On premises and IAAS SqlServer • Responsible for reading and understanding the client requirement and distribute the requirement in team. • Excellent Knowledge of Database Administration SQL Server 2008,2008R2,2014,2016,2019 like mirroring, log shipping, replication, Always on and database management and data migration,SSIS • Good knowledge of SQL Server tools (Profiler, DMVs) • Installation, Administration and Maintenance of SQL Server Instances. • Setup Test, Development, Production Environments. • Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges). • Create Linked Servers to SQL Servers as per product/project requirement. • Design database Backup and Restoration Strategy. Once created the database Backups, monitor those backups are being performed regularly. • From time to time recover the databases to a specific point of time, as per the requests • Setup High-Availability as part Disaster Recovery Strategy for the Databases.( Database Mirroring, Log Shipping and Replication) • Troubleshoot various problems that arise in a day-to-day work and fix the issues. • Automating the DBA tasks using Database maintenance wizard, Alerts, Jobs and SQL mails. • Experience in Maintenance of SQL Server, Indexes, Statistics, SQL agent, Users and Security etc. • Monitoring and Performance Tuning. Knowledge of Execution plans, Server blocking issues and resolutions. • Work as part of a team and provide 7×24 supports when required. • Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
