About Kavitha Dalal

As a critical care clinical pharmacy specialist at Virtua Health, I led the COVID-19 pharmacy treatment response in a large healthcare system, providing evidence-based and patient-centered care. I have over 20 years of experience in critical care pharmacology, with expertise in patient safety, clinical research, and drug therapy optimization. I am also a thought leader in my field, writing and editing articles and online modules on new and emerging topics in critical care pharmacy. In addition to my clinical role, I am the pharmacy education coordinator and the PGY-1 pharmacy residency program director at Virtua Health, where I mentor and train the next generation of pharmacists. I am passionate about developing and implementing innovative and effective educational programs and initiatives, collaborating with system-wide hospital partners and stakeholders, and driving departmental change to meet health system goals. I excel at communication, project management, and relationship-building, and I am determined and goal-oriented with the skills, education, and experience needed to make an immediate impact on a fast-paced team.
