In 2008, I moved from Florida back to Colorado with an opportunity to continue my employment with Lexus of Melbourne's sister dealership, however at that time the auto industry was in turmoil and I chose to persue other options. I was hired on at Brunswick Corporation as the Center Controller. In September of this year Brunswick sold their bowling division to Bowlmor-AMF. Following this acquisition the new owner made many changes to the business, one of which transferred all accounting functions to home office. Though it was unfortunate news to learn my position was being eliminated, I am grateful for the opportunity to broaden my knowledge of both financial accounting and management. I am ready to move forward and learn more about your company. Although I appreciate continued learning, the attached resume will provide information based on my years of experience in the finance accounting and management fields. During my employment at Brunswick Corporation, I delivered revenue commitments by monitoring controllable costs to achieve center top line revenue budget and CCBFC. Our center was #1 in revenue for 7 years running. I maintained an average audit score of 900 points for 5 years. I was responsible for daily cash handling, receivables, payables, ledger balancing, and employee payroll/files for a center of 130+ employees. Prior to Brunswick Corporation I have many years of experience in the auto dealership accounting industry with experience working each desk.
