With over 30 years of experience working in Payroll, I took a career break in 2003 to bring up my son but was eager to resume my career in payroll in September 2006, which I am still working in. My payroll experience is both hands-on and supervisory, with the ability to train others. I have mainly worked for companies who deal with their own payroll in-house, running weekly, fortnightly or monthly payrolls, but have also worked for a Payroll Bureau dealing with many client payrolls. I have excellent organisational skills with good attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workloads. Pro-active with a positive “can-do” attitude who is keen to learn new aspects of payroll. I have recently received a Brilliant Persons Award for going the Extra Mile in my current position. I am CIPP qualified too. Abilities • A hard-working individual who uses initiative to good effect, but is also an effective team player. • Attention to detail, with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines. • Ability to build and maintain relationships with employees, colleagues and field staff. • The ability to work within a pressured Payroll environment.
