About Kay James

My professional speciality is in transforming low performing chapters to energetic, active, goal driven and results oriented high performing organizations. I assess the needs of the organization and begin to fill the needs with the right people who can share the vision to move the organization forward. I surround myself with highly skilled and people with diverse talents and nurture their creativity. It is important to be able to find the needed resources through a network of highly skilled or connected colleagues. It is important to know how to think through problems, opportunities or processes to reach the desired outcomes. My Goals: I would like to be able to bring systems together so that they are more logically aligned to better serve the communites in public health, public education and public service. That can be accomplished through foundation funding, public-private partnerships or through leading collaborations in public health, STEM education in coordination with corporations, community colleges, high schools and universities whereby they develop programs that are linked and are relavant to the business community and the student's ability to get a good paying job at the end of training. My colleagues say that my core strengths are in networking, strategic alliances, connections, culture shifts, infrastructural analysis and adaptations, identifying data points and patterns that are conducive in formulating a vision for successful action.
